Tillymint Founder is Chair of CIPR Midlands for 2026

Tillymint Marketing & PR founder Alison Gallagher-Hughes has been appointed Chair of CIPR Midlands for 2026, following a successful year serving as Co-Chair alongside Seb Greene.

During 2025, the Midlands committee focused on strengthening engagement across the region, welcoming new volunteers and expanding opportunities for PR professionals at every stage of their career. The committee introduced new working groups, increased networking and CPD activity, and launched initiatives designed to make volunteering more accessible and inclusive.

Under their leadership the region also saw significant membership growth, with more than 130 new members joining during the first half of the year as momentum built around a more active regional programme.

Reflecting on the appointment, Alison said:

“It’s a real privilege to step into the role of Chair after such a positive and energising year for CIPR Midlands. We’ve worked hard to create a committee culture that is collaborative, welcoming and ambitious, while delivering meaningful opportunities for PR professionals across the region. I’m excited to continue building on that momentum in 2026.”

Looking ahead, Alison will continue to focus on professional development, regional advocacy, member engagement and strengthening relationships with agencies, in-house teams and corporate affiliates across the Midlands. The region is also working on launching its own regional events programme with an awards presentation night scheduled for April
